States The Armistice Agreement established the Neutral Nations Supervisory Commission (NNSC), consisting of four nations that had not taken part in the Korean War with combat troops: Since 1953, Sweden is a member of the NNSC and has since been permanently present in Panmunjom. With its presence and performance of operational tasks, Sweden actively contributes to the stability on the Korean Peninsula in the interest of all involved parties.
